You can grab a copy of find_window.c. Version 1.4, last change on September, 17th 1998. (Version 1.5 did not compile under Solaris 2.5.1). Check out the rcs log (warning: ignore the 1.5 section!). For SunOS 5 (aka Solaris) users there is a Makefile. And here you can find an (unformatted) man page for it. Please send suggestions!
If you have questions about this program, you might want to ask any of the authors (listed in the source code). I only store the source code. Another option is to try the comp.unix.cde newsgroup.
If you want to integrate find_window.c into your CDE (not TriTeal CDE) you can use the following steps:
Download the Icons and datatype definitions and unzip and untar them. You will find the following structure in the archive:
etc/dt/appconfig/ etc/dt/appconfig/types/ etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/ etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/FindWin.fp etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/FindWin.dt etc/dt/appconfig/icons/ etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/ etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/FindWin.s.pm etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/FindWin.s_m.bm etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/FindWin.t.pm etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/FindWin.t_m.bm etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/FindWin.t.bm etc/dt/appconfig/icons/C/FindWin.s.bm
Now you can (as a sysadmin) copy these files to the suggested places or (as a user) copy these file to ~/.dt/types and ~/.dt/icons. Edit these files according to your front panel definition (check with dtfplist) and your $PATH environment variable. Then restart your workspace manager (use your right mouse button on the workspace and select 'Restart Workspace Manager ...'.
